The humpback whale HBIRL#36 was seen the days before around Reen and Clonakilty Bay.
I wanted to see and if possible take photos of this species of whale as I only had distance encounters.
With Colin Barnes from Cork Whale Watch we got to see this young fellow very close.

Sometimes just about 3 m of the boat as he was playing hide and seek with us,

Went out for some shots around the Lough in Cork.
Following the track around which was lit by street lamps and the all around light from the street and the houses.
A nearly cloudless sky and some stars on top of this.
Last weekend member of the Google+ Ireland Community met up for the G+ PhotowalkDingle .
We followed the Slea Head Walk, a little part of the Dingle Way. Lucky with the weather, we got to see some amazing scenery around the Slea Head and towards the Blasket Islands.

A quick tour over the May bank holiday to Northern Ireland with the typical todo’s 🙂
From Portrush where we stayed overnight we headed back to coastal route to cover the attractions as to see below.
